We propose a Multi-authority attribute-based broadcast encryption algorithm. Attribute-based encryption algorithm determines decryption ability based on a user’s attributes. In our algorithm, only recipient who satisfy the given access policy can encrypt the data in terms of attributes issued from multiple authorities, thus ours can be appropriately applied to the system of Satellite Broadcasting or Communication/Military Satellite. And more, when sender broadcasts encrypted data, our algorithm has the advantage which can revoke authorities/users in the set of recipient, so it can control access both the data and authorities/users in set of recipient. To this end, our algorithm is not made with a simple combination of Multi-authority attribute-based encryption and Broadcast encryption, but made with an effective combination of them which has a new feature. In conclusion, our algorithm can be applied to network system of Government or Military which has a structure with accessing policy to confidential data, thus it can contribute to the security of information protection.
