The purpose of this study was to define that effects of intermittent aerobic exercise on obesity index, blood lipid and fatigue related factors among obese middle-aged men. The group composition consisted of intermittent aerobic exercise group(n=13) and 14 control group(n=14), SPSS was used for data processing(two-way ANOVA with repeated-measures on the second factor, independent t-test). As a result of intermittent aerobic exercise, body weight (kg) in obese index decreased significantly at 12 weeks, % Body fat decreased significantly at 8 and 12 weeks in the exercise group compared to the control group, and the interaction effect appeared. LDL-C was significantly decreased in the exercise group at 12 weeks compared to the control group, and exercise group was significantly decreased at 12 weeks. As a result of intermittent aerobic exercise, ACTH was significantly decreased in exercise group compared with control group at 8 and 12 weeks. It was interaction effect. Cortisol also decreased significantly in the exercise group at 12 weeks. Therefore, 12-week intermittent aerobic exercise had a positive effect on obesity index, blood lipid and fatigue related factors.
