This study is to recognize the importance of analysis methodology of experience and behavior and to analyze the trend of research on architectural space design applying the concept of affordance. Theoretical considerations on the concept of affordance were given priority. Preliminary research data were collected from domestic papers. The research method, cases, results and limit points were analyzed. Finally, research trends were suggested according to the origin of the research, type of research, survey method, subject, keywords and implications. The results of this study show that space design with applied concept is steadily studied. Recently, interest in design development due to experience and participation of various users has increased, and concept and interpretation of "affordance" has been diversified and alternative words have been used. The present study shows that most cases are based on simple case analysis and evaluation research, and they depend on literature research. It is necessary to investigate through various research methods such as analytical research method which can confirm the user "s insight. In particular, empirical research is needed, such as validation, rather than merely user perception or satisfaction survey. When many researchers include keywords for user, participatory design, and interaction design, the public design field suggests that continuous research on space - user interaction or relationship is needed.
