Report Errors
This study analysed the economic effect on FTA-concluded countries in the following two aspects: trade and overseas direct investment.
The results were summarized: As for the effect of trade estimated in the Pooled OLS type, national income except per capital national income, overseas direct investment, population, exchange rate and distance as explanatory variables were significant in the level of 1%. In accordance with results of Hausman Test, it was estimated as random effect, and the estimated results were significant in the level of 1% as follows: national income except per capital national income and distance, overseas direct investment, population and exchange rate.
As the results that were estimated in the Pooled OLS type as for overseas direct investment, national income except per capita national income and exchange rate, trade and population were significant in the level of 1%. In accordance with the results of Hausman Test, the results were estimated as random effect like trade effect as follows: national income, trade and population was significant in the level of 1%.
