본 연구는 학술연구정보서비스(RISS)와 국회도서관, 디비피아, 한국학술정보(KISS), 한국실과교육학회, 한국실과교육연구학회, 한국과학교육학회, 한국기술교육학회 등에서 수집된 학술지논문 124편을 대상으로 초등발명교육의 최신 연구동향을 분석하였으며 초등발명교육의 기초 연구로서 그 결과는 다음과 같다.
초등발명교육의 논문 수는 최근 교육과정 내 체계적 정립을 위한 다양하고 능동적인 시도와발명교육 관련 학과의 신설로 인해 전반적으로 증가하였다. 발표지 유형은 한국실과교육학회, 한국실과교육연구학회 순으로, 기능으로는 교수·학습 분야 연구가 가장 활발했으며, 주제로는영재교육, 교과연구·개발, 발명·창의성 기법 순이었다. 연구방법으로는 개발연구, 실험연구, 질적연구, 조사연구 순이었다. 개발연구와 실험연구는 프로그램 개발 및 실험 처치 연구로서 대부분 중복됐고, 실험연구의 구인은 창의성, 발명태도·흥미 순으로 많았으며 특히, 최근 정의적 능력과 관련된 구인의 실험연구가 많았다. 대상 분석으로는 초등학생, 교사 순이었으며, 연구자 특성은 공동연구가 많았고 10회 이상의 논문을 발표한 연구자는 5명이었다. 본 연구와 함께 초등발명교육의 전체적 현황 분석을 위해 중등발명교육이 포함된 동향과 향후 초등발명교육의 균형발전을 위해 특정 범주에 편중된 연구보다는 다각적인 연구가 필요할 것으로 보인다.
The purpose of this study is to analyze the recent trends of elementary invention education study on the basis of 124 research papers. It has been collected through Korean Association of Practical Arts Education, Society of Korean Practical Arts Education, Korean Association for Science Education, Korean Technology Education Association, the results are as follows. First, in the recent elementary invention education, papers show a tendency to increase overall gradually. It can be seen due to increasing number of active attempt for Systematic establishment in recent curriculum and founding invention education-related majors in university of education order to actively research into invention-education. Second, the analysis result in type of presentation of academic journal was followed by a large number of research papers in Society of Korean Practical Arts Education order of Korean Association of Practical Arts Education. In functional analysis, learning field research is the most active. In study subject of elementary invention education, gifted and talented education field research is the most active and thereafter curriculum research·development and the inventions·creativity technique was to order. Regarding the research methods, the number of study followed by development research, experimental research, qualitative research, and survey research.
Development research and experimental research, as a development and experimental treatment study of the program, to have been mostly overlap. Regarding the construct of the experimental research, the number of study followed by creativity, invention attitude-interest, and recently experimental study of the construct associated with affective capacity has increased. Regarding the research subject, the number of study followed by elementary school student, and teacher. In type of characteristics of the researchers, in the case of journal articles, joint research of researchers were more than single research of researchers. And most of trends were inclined to university· graduate school affiliation of research and elementary school affiliation of research.
