The current local government public bicycle system was developed independently and lacked unity, when use there is a problem that it causes confusion and re-learning according to the rental method from each local government. At present, some local government apply bicycle terminal, but UI design is insufficient, and there is a problem in kiosk UI causing confusion in use. Therefore, in this study, propose an improvement plan focusing on kiosk and bicycle terminal. As a method of proceeding, we selected the local governments operated by the kiosk system and identified problems by VOC investigation and field visit survey. Analysis of the rental process for 12 local government, layout representing screen elements, and UI design analysis based on interactive design elements were set as general standard. In this way, the existing public bicycle system UI has generalized. Then, the usability evaluation was progressed for 40 participants in order to examine whether the improvement plan improved usability. At this time, task contents of usability evaluation were rental shop information, rental process by user type, return information, and breakdown report. As a result, it is statistically proved that the improvement proposal is better than the existing one in terms the number of errors, use time, the satisfaction.
