The purpose of this study was to observe gifted children in early childhood institute, findingactual characteristics of gifted children and to investigate of teachers’ perception on gifted childreneducation. The results of this study were as follows: First, gifted children were fast learners andhad good memory than non-gifted children. Also, gifted children showed excellent concentrationability, profound knowledge about the subject interested and they enjoyed daydream. Second,gifted children had a hard time to make relationship in their peer groups at first, but they showedto be adapted themselves. Also they were good at making new games and making their friendsfun. They cooperated with teachers and friends well. Nevertheless, gifted children made friendswith who had similar intellectual level. And they preferred adults to peer groups. Third, teacherswere surprised at outstanding characteristics of gifted children and they were proud of themselvesin teaching gifted children. On the other hand, teachers were concerned about their education butthey appealed difficulty to be worried about lack of understanding gifted children education. Theywanted to know how to manage the class including gifted children and non-gifted childrenefficiently.
