The EU is often viewed as the best example of regional integration and the experience of the EU is a valuable reference when considering regional integration process around the world. Then, the Northeast Asia integration can learn from the EU’s experience. The Northeast Asian integration is near the main topics of international economic laws. This paper discussed the legal points on the related issues based on the concept of the “Legal Infrastructure” as the function of international economic laws. Then, it extended to the other area such as human right or peacekeeping issues in the area. In the planning stage of the trilateral FTA or the integration structure by the three Northeast Asian countries, the Korea-EU FTA can be used as the legal linkage between the two regions for the experience transforming work. FTAs can assist the partners in strengthening international partnerships with an economic interest combined with political motivation. Therefore, the international agreement can be used not only for the economic benefit of the parties but also for the hints of legal solutions in other fields from the experience.
