In this bibliographical work I make an effort to catalogue a long historiography regarding publications on the theme of folklore in A. S. Pushkin's works. Despite the fact that the national poet has considerably been researched both in Russian and Western Pushkin scholarship, no comprehensive and far-flung study of folkloric elements has been made in Western and Korean academia in particular. A synthetic interpretation, drawing on specific theoretical rationales for the problem under discussion, of the writer's entire oeuvre through the perspective of folkloric motifs, themes, genres, etc is of course needed to enrich our understanding of his literary and artistic world. This kind of bibliographical work is important for our further research, though it is at the embryonic stage. With this in mind, I divide my work into two pieces: introductory part summarizing the most significant publications (articles as well as books) for our concerns and the list itself, the main body of my research. In terms of time span, the work encompasses one hundred three years--the oldest study by Prof. B. Millera, Pushkin, as the poet-ethnographer (1899) and the most recent by O. R. Nikolaev, “Folkloric Symbolism of the Road and Pushkin's Poems” (2002). As preliminary study for building Pushkin House of Folklore, this bibliography will contribute to the potentiality of Pushkin study, or simply put of pushkinovedenie. (пушкиноведение).
