The aim of this paper is focusing on the difficulties of Korean education in Taiwan. Korean education has existed in Taiwan for 50 years, nevertheless, because of various effects, nowadays, Korean education in Taiwan faces its bottleneck and becomes one of countries which is needed to be improved and assisted. Since 2000, because of rising Korean Wave and communication of high technology industry, the demand of Korean talent has increased. Moreover, subsequent events have also revealed the importance of Korean in Taiwan and the shortage of Korean talents. For instance, since 2004, direct flight between Taiwan and South Korea has resumed. Also,the first Korean language literature has set up as for second foreign language in Taipei Jingmei Girls High School since 2005. In addition, in 2006, Korean has become the third place of National foreign language examination of “The Examination Yuan of R.O.C.”, which is only behind English and Japanese. Nonetheless, because of some reasons, it is pity that there is still no significant change of Korean education system and understanding of Korea. This paper catalogues below questions and tries to figure out the improvement of Korean education in Taiwan. Hoping this paper can be helpful to Korean education in Taiwan and catch Korean education experts’ attention. 1. Negative attitude from University to relevant education department 2. Scanty learning resources of Korean education 3. Shortage of Korean talents 4. Insufficient of teachers and qualified problem of teachers 5. Teaching problem 6. Teaching material problem
