Purpose: The purpose of this study is to identify the practical problems caused by the implementation of the minimum academic achievement and e-school system for guaranteeing learning rights for athlete-students attending general high school and the physical education high school. Methods: This study was conducted by In-death interview to examine the meaning and effectiveness of the minimum academic achievement experienced by students athlete-school, parents, teacher and coach-school in their field using the narrative among qualitative research methods. The interview data were collected as primary source and the feedback was followed by focusing on different perspective and effectiveness of the minimum academic achievement and e-school system. Results: In results, it is not very positive in terms of effectiveness. Such a system made student athlete-school feel burdened by the system, but it still made them feel more comfortable than ever before, so they could feel burden on their studying rather than ultimate goal of improving their academic achievement. Other participants also agreed with the fundamental purpose of the system, but were somewhat negative about its effectiveness. Conclusion: Despite the positive aspects of the system, which are based on the guarantee of student’s right to study and their human rights, the inherent purpose of the system is tarnished at school sites and its role is not properly fulfilled. It is hoped that the system will be supplemented and established as a practical helpful system to all athlete-student.
