In order to understand the housing consciousness of the young generation, a survey was conducted on 100 college students who had experienced housing choices themselves. The survey included ‘male’(35.0%) and ‘female’(65.0%) and the average age was 22. ‘Function as a place of health and rest for the family’(54.5%), ‘cabinet’, ‘living room’, ‘kitchen’ and ‘bathroom’ were found to be important. ‘Internal facilities’(4.59), ‘ventilation and mining’(4.54), and ‘traffic convenience’(4.48) were considered when choosing a house. For youth housing, ‘rental’(63.0%), ‘alone’(85.%), and ‘apartment’(52.0%) were preferred, and ‘school/work distance’(43.0%), ‘transportation means’(27.0%), and ‘convenience facilities’(27.0%) were considered. The most common opinion was that the responsibility for the youth housing problem was ‘the state’(48.0%) and that the necessary housing support system was ‘expanding the supply of rental housing for young people’(45.0%). Through this, we hope to help develop policies for youth housing in the future.
