This study was conducted to analyze the factors that influence the business continuity intention of restaurants in the COVID-19 environment. Based on the results of previous studies, the store environment, store operation, and manager characteristics were set as independent variables of the success factors of the restaurant business. Location and facilities were used for the store environment. Product power, service power, and hygienic environment were used for the store operation, and initiative and risk taking were sub category as the manager characteristics. It was set that these variables will affect management performance and ultimately affect the intention to continue the business. At this time, management performance was divided into financial performance and non-financial performance. A total of 340 catering business managers responded to the survey, focusing on the Seoul area, and 328 effective copies of them were used as the analysis targets of this study. The results of the study are as follows: First, the results of testing the hypotheses between independent variables and financial performance show that location, product power, initiative, and risk taking have a significant positive (+) effect on financial performance. The influence among the variables was found to have the impact in the order of initiative, product power, location, and risk taking. Second, as a result of testing the hypotheses between independent variables and non-financial performance, it was found that product power, service power, initiative, and risk taking had a significant positive (+) effect on non-financial performance. The influence among the variables was found to have the impact in the order of product power, initiative, risk taking and service power. Third, the result of testing the hypothesis between financial and non-financial performances and business continuity intention was found to have a significant positive (+) effect. Based on these research results, academic and practical implications were presented.
