This study will examine the level of Organizational Justice, organizational communication, and job satisfaction of social workers. Through their structural relationships, social welfare organizations want to provide policy and practical implications on what efforts they should make.
For those purposes, an SEM(structural equation modeling) was established to analyze key variables of organizational justice, organizational communication, and job satisfaction. This study conducted a survey targeting the workers of welfare centers, welfare centers for the disabled, and welfare centers for senior citizens in Busan, and total 188 questionnaires were used for the final analysis.
In the main results, first, the organizational communication had positive mediating effects on the relation between interactional justice and job satisfaction. This means that the interactional justice helps the smooth organizational communication, which increases the job satisfaction. And in the level of organizational justice of social workers, the interactional justice was the highest, which was followed by procedural justice and distributive justice. The lowest distributive justice was lower than other job groups.
Based on such results of this study, this study suggested the measures for increasing the job satisfaction of social workers as follows. There should be the institutional intervention for establishing the management system such as education and evaluation related to organizational justice and organizational communication of social welfare institutions. And the efforts for improving the inadequate treatment of social workers as a fundamental problem to solve the distributive justice.
