The purpose of this study is was to explore the experiences of service providers for residents with hoarding disorders symptoms who live in state-owned purchased rental housing for low-income families. This study includes both social workers and housing managers because residents with hoarding disorders symptoms who live in the publicly purchased rental such housing need social services as well as housing services. A Focus Group Interview technique was employed for 12 study participants who were recruited by the snowball sampling. The support experiences were divided into three main themes: Difficult and sometimes dangerous engagement process, Separate and hard practice, Sustainable and good ideas. This study provided an opportunity to understand the support process and experiences for of the residents with hoarding disorder symptoms in state-owned purchased rental housing, which had a subject that had not been academically researched thus so far. Based on their experiences, this study suggests practical and politic sensible suggestions for such tenants. with hording disorder symptoms in the publicly purchased rental housing.
