Artemisia argyi(AA) is widely used as traditional medicine in East Asia. To maximize the effect of AA, we obtained differentiated ingredients by roasting dried AA under various conditions such as heating temperature and time. Each was immersed in 70% ethanol water and boiled 3 times for 2 hours at 85℃ by reflux extraction method. In order to measure the effect of the AA ethanol extracts on the inhibition of the production of inflammatory ingredients, Griess assay was performed on RAW 264.7 cells that were treated with LPS.
