The museum is making many new attempts to deliver intellectual content in various fields. In recent years, the speed of attempts to use media in museums has been further accelerated. Of course, the media is all about electronic media since the 20th century, the art, including modern art, has tried to cooperate with other fields and has made artistic implementations through the media. Such media and media art are becoming more of a means of display than a supplement to the museum"s role.
This study divided the media and media art into simple exhibition, interactive, and immersive types to find out how users of the museum have a perception of media and media art. Users of the museum wanted to investigate how much they were expanding their museum experience through Media Art.
As a result, visitors are beginning to be exposed and familiar with various media art in the museum. An investigation into what museum users experience has identified sites that pre-circulate with museums by presenting users" behavior of recognizing changes in museums. Museum education, which uses media as well as exhibitions, increases the immersion of participants and brings out the advantages of various media.
The experience of museum users, who are familiar with the media through surveys in the current museum environment, showed that museum users had a desire for new stimuli as much as meeting intellectual content. And museum users were constantly trying to meet media exhibitions through museums. The survey concluded that visitors to the Media Art exhibition are becoming more positive and familiar with the art. In addition, this study proves how media art will satisfy visitors in the future and what topics, devices, etc. will be displayed. Therefore, from the museum"s point of view, it will try to use various media art to provide a better display for visitors.
