The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of Korean young people's attitudes toward youth allowances on their efforts for employment. To accomplish the research purpose, the researcher analyzed the variables of ages, gender, and marital status in the Korean Youth Social & Economic Panel Data (N=3,530) to find the impacts of the variables on the youth allowances. This study also analyzed the impact of the agreement of the youth agreement on the job search effort and abandonment. The results of the analyses showed that 20s unmarried male respondents had more positive attitude toward the youth allowance and the positive attitude toward youth allowance had a positive impact on their intention to get a higher level of job through job training rather than getting a job immediately. On the other hand, 30s, married female respondents had more negative attitude toward the youth allowance, the negative attitude toward the youth allowance.
