Ahead of a super-aged society, Aging in place’s interest is emerging. In the case of the elderly, the time spent in the living environment is higher than in other age groups, and there are problems with various diseases and safety accidents caused by aging, so measures for safe housing for the elderly should be prepared. The purpose of this paper is to derive the need to improve institutional support for the elderly’s housing safety by identifying vulnerabilities in each system and further serve as basic data for Aging in Place. As a method of research, the current status of the system was identified through previous studies and literature studies, and items were categorized and analyzed. As a result of the study, the legal details were insufficient compared to other manuals, so the coercion of the guidelines was less, and the difficulty in actual use was limited. In addition, it is necessary to study the concept of practical detailed items and to verify the effectiveness of the actual living environment.
