Addressed in this study is the process of transition of the creative musical <Cemetary Princess> to a non-face-to-face performance due to COVID 19. The target of this study is the children who belong to a member of Little Yongin, a children's musical company of the Yongin branch of the National Theater Association of Korea. The Children's Musical Company, Little Yongin, founded in 2005, is an art group that selects children in Yongin through an open audition once a year and performs regular and special performances every year. The creative musical <Cemetary Princess> was selected as the 2021 Gyeonggi Dream School Program and received a subsidy from the Education Office to prepare for the performance. However, due to COVID 19 and social distancing level 2.5, it was impossible to perform face-to-face. In response, Little Yongin, decided to perform a non-face-to-face performance using Zoom. However, because of the difficulties of unfamiliarity with using the system and the participation attitude and immersion of the children, the creative musical <Cemetary Princess> was converted into a stage reading rather than a musical. In this study, the children were asked about strengths and weaknesses in non-face-to-face musical practice and performance such as acting, dancing, and singing through in-depth interviews and surveys. The children set up a camera in their rooms and play each role through zoom. Technological development that completes the work by integrating each image into one. The researcher of this study has an important task to develop an efficient teaching method of real-time non-face-to-face musical education for children. The results of this study are intended to be of some help when teaching and performing non-face-to-face real-time musicals for children in the post-era of COVID 19.
