The purpose of this study was to verify the mediating effect of college physical education class satisfaction in the relationship between college students" perception of college physical education class and sports participating intention. The subjects of this study were college students. Among the college students, subjects who were taking physical education classes during the survey period or who had previously taken these classes were selected. Online and face-to-face surveys were conducted at a total of four regional universities, including Gyeonggi, Chungnam, Busan, and Jeolla. A total of 402 were used in the final analysis for the hypothesis verification. The collected data were analyzed using regression analysis and the significance of the mediating effect was verified with the Sobel test. As a result of the analysis, hypothesis 1 that the perception of college physical education classes would affect sports participating intention was accepted. After verifying the mediating effect, the college physical education classes’ operation, environmental, and professor satisfaction in the relationship between college students" perception of college physical education classes and sports participating intention, the mediating effect was found to be statistically significant, and hypotheses 2 (operation satisfaction), 3 (environmental satisfaction), and 4 (professor satisfaction) were all adopted. It was confirmed that satisfaction with the college physical education classes’ operation, environment, and professors all had a mediating effect in the relationship between college students" perception of college physical education class and sports participating intention.
