In Korea, in the past, in a development-oriented society during the high growth period, the field of facilities necessary for residents' daily lives has expanded due to an increase in income levels. The government has established a legal and administrative system for researching living service provision facilities and expanding infrastructure in residential areas and various government policies and investments have been made from the perspective of urban regeneration. In recent years, the importance of basic living infrastructure is expanding as 'n minute city' has become a global topic as a paradigm for time city planning(Chrono-Urbanism). In 2023, Gwangju Metropolitan City is expected to supply basic living infrastructure as it proposes a plan to create a network city for 30 minutes of living in the station area of urban railway and a 10-minute daily Activity Area in Gwangju through the establishment of the 2040 Gwangju Comprehensive City Plan. In addition, it is expected to form a new subway station area, develop a new residential complex, and strengthen the connection with the living area by starting construction for the opening of Urban Railroad Line 2. However, currently, Gwangju Metropolitan City lacks policies and step-by-step and integrated plans related to basic living infrastructure, and even basic current status analysis has not been conducted. Therefore, this study aims to identify the distribution characteristics of Gwangju Metropolitan City's basic living infrastructure (village unit facilities) in terms of accessibility and equity and suggest implications to consider when establishing related plans in the future.
