The purpose of this study was to compare the efficiency of physical fitness in children through folk play physical life prog rams.
To accomplish the purpose, Only five factors of physical fitness (100M, Running-jump, Far-away jump, Chinning-exercise, 600M) was examined by me after folk play physical life programs learning during 16 Weeks inclued to subjects of male and female who are the elementary school students in Y?ju Gun Kyeong-gi-do, Upon total to male and female the elementary school students were used as subjects and divided into two groups.
1. experimental group, 2. control group.
Experimental group was subjects folk play physical life programs learning during 16 Weeks served as a systematic exercise practicing only pre, post test.
Control group served nature educational programs only pre, post test.
The statistical method were used mean, standard deviation, T-test.
Some of the important finding Were follow ;
1. Experimental group showed a significant difference in the effects of subjects folk play physical life programs instruction on physical fitness of children between two groups of male and female. (p<.05).
2. As a result pre-post test, experimental group and control group an significant difference in the effects of folk play physical life programs instruction on physical fitness of children. (p<.05).
3. Comparison group showed no difference on physical fitness of children between two groups of the male and female. (P<.05).
In conclusion, When we have compared that before exercise with after exercise, the students of fourth on fifth grade have become higher than the students of second on third grade. We have to give a continuous lead in their exercise to build up the physical fitness of children. It is necessary for us to make a lasting and successive study applying to all the elementary school students.
