Which variously expresses and classifies meaning of language are meaning types. Meaning types are to observe the method which delivers meaning from the varying degree and to classify.
In this thesis, I will present the propriety of classification and the model of effective studying on the eight kinds of meaning types from the school grammar. For this purpose, I observed accurately the eight kinds of meaning types and then reclassified. The eight kinds of meaning types from the school grammar are central meaning and derived meaning, conceptual meaning and connotative meaning, social meaning and affective meaning, thematic meaning and reflected meaning. Though they introduce opposing pairs, their opposing concept is not clear. Negativity verification leads the opposing pairs. But the opposing pairs appear clearly only relationship of central meaning and derived meaning, conceptual meaning and connotative meaning.
In order to classify a meaning types according to whether to be descriptive on the dictionary is [±descriptive]. To classify other distinctions I will present some features, [±derivative], [±personal], [±syntatic], [±universal].
