This study is a review of the [SeonbukunEonhaengyusa](先府君言行遺事) and the [GossiHyojeolok](高氏孝節錄), one of the works of fact-recording literature of human, and the [Byungjarok](丙子錄), one of the works in a form of fact-recording literature of cases, all of which have been reserved or collected by the Jangseogak(藏書閣).
The [SeonbukunEonhaengyusa] is a work which traced Lee, Kwang-Chan'(李匡贊) life, written by his son, Lee Yang-Ik(李良翊).
The [GoshiHyojeolok] has been written by Ms. Lee in 1944. Ms. Lee created the work with sympathy for the sad life of Go, Young-Ok who failed in her marriage life and returned her home because of a 'Shinsik'(新式) woman, a woman who was educated western style of life and thinking. In this work, the writer showed us that a traditional moralism supercedes western one in real life by dramatically comparing the success of Go, Young-Ok, who was one of the 'Goosik'(舊式) women, in her home and the collapse of lang family who preferred a 'Shinsik' woman.
The [Byungjarok] created by a grand grand son of Lee, Sa-Ju(李思周) not long after 1683, who died for the country at the time of rebellion occurred by Lee, Kwal(李适). The work, while recording the process of the rebellion of Lee, K wal from its cause to the recovery of Gangwhado and peace treaty baced on real facts, shows us the excellence of his writing style through his detail description.
I temporarily classified the fact-recording literature in to four categories focused on human, family, accidents and travels. Among these, the fact-recording literature on travels possesses the largest proportion in fact-recording literature. Therefore, the study on this literature would lead us into a right way of understanding the fact-recording literature.
In addition, the fact-recording literature faithfully contains historical and social facts at the times. Sometimes we meet the women or men at that time, sometimes we look into the social trend and circumstances and the thought of each social hierachy who confront and go through such social flow, sometimes we hear their language. Therefore, an integrated way of access from the side of Korean literture, Korean linguistics and related area is essential to understand the fact-recording literature in a right way.
