This paper is designed to consider the present condition, critical point, and course, while it is synthetically researching products of old Korean classics study in relation to cultural contents recently.
I think that the products of old Korean classics study have developed four items in large. These are the study of a general introduction, an analytical study, a developmental study, a teaching model.
First of all, the 21st century digital era, the study of a general introduction try to find a new triangular position, a study strategy, and directions in the future of old Korean classics. Especially, it shows interest in classical novel and folklore in a field of the classical literature, which narration is very clear. It is showing that those are making developing program for various kinds of cultural contents.
Analytical study is making a comparative study of cases which it is produced various kinds of cultural contents which utilized the classics, that is considering mainly aspects of adaption.
Developmental study try to find a developmental possibility of various cultural contents or report development cases, based on classical literature. For example, these are studying development and practical use for various cultural contents, like a game, digital contents, a public performance, story creating and so on, connective plan between classical literature and cultural contents based on cultural heritage based digital contents project, developing plan about various of entertainment.
A teaching model is searching for a new teaching model to connect plan between classical literature and cultural contents, while it reflects latest actuality. they are embodying a teaching model for classical literature and cultural contents around their own teaching sample, I think that we bears watching forward.
After all, as many students pointed out above, classical literature is still playing still an important role the digital era in the 21st century. But, Classical literature, for the sake of living in our realities, joins with a various of cultural contents and will pursue an endless change and re-creation. That way, it will become wider in sphere of classical literature.
