This research aims to investigate the proper direction sports journalism should take on in analyzing how television news program has broadcasted 2008 Beijing Paralympic for The Handicapped. For this purpose, this research has analyzed all total news programs and sports news program of three domestic broadcasting companies (KBS MBC SBS) through research method of content analysis. Among total of 146 items used in analysis, 45 items, which is 30% of this case, has been randomly extracted to be tested with the level of the trust, which showed the average accordance of .92 with assigned analyzed items. The conclusions are as below. First, as three broadcasting companies have been consistent on the strong tendency of reporting the result of the paralympic game for the handicapped only, they failed in promoting the value which the paralympic has beyond the impression of simple sports event. Second, broadcasting of game results was focused on our nation only. In this process, there would be only Korean medalists while the idea of paralympic as the festival of world citizens has been disappeared. Third, even though there was not the big difference in the amount of broadcasting on each games, as there were events which had many separated reports, as well as events which had the broadcasting form of total short report, the difference in quality still existed there. Fourth, Reporting still used sensational words. Expressions, such as 'Flying golden smash over the great wall of China', 'Like beast chasing after the victim' show the fact that they are away from objective and neutral attitude which the journalism should have.
