This study tries to investigate the degree of faith maturity of a Christian married and to identify the relation faith maturity, self-esteem and marital-relationship satisfaction. In order to examine this purpose, survey research was conducted on 168 Christian married people who attend a church which is in Daegu and Kyungbuk.
The major findings of this study are as follows.
The degree of total faith maturity of a Christian youth is high(4.19) and the factors taken higher degree are "receptiveness(4.38)" and "relationship(4.34)" and the factors taken lower degree are "participation(4.06)", and "consciousness(4.10)". The degree of faith maturity is different according to general characters of participants. The degree of self-esteem and marital-relationship satisfaction is 3.36, 3.62. The relationships faith maturity, self-esteem and marital-relationship satisfaction of a Christian have positive corelation.
In conclusion, it was found that the degree of faith maturity is influenced by self-esteem and marital-relationship satisfaction. Therefore, Church have to consider of marital-relationship satisfaction and self-esteem of Christian and provide services improving those. This study findings' implications for research and practice were also discussed.
