This writing tries symptomatic reading that investigate principle and methodological protoplasm of poetics involved Kim Chun-Soo’s critical mind laying stress on early-poetics Morphology of Korean Modern Poetry. And this writing tries to find nodal point that plural viewpoints clash in poetics logic, and focused whether Kim Chun-Soo tries to overcome antinomy and dilemma by some mode.
This writing grasps basic viewpoint of Morphology of Korean Modern Poetry to two dimensions called ‘form evolution theory’, ‘psychological process of language’, and extracts nodal point on poetics composition as two items ‘Kim So-Wol’s poetry’, ‘the 1937’s’.
Kim Chun-Soo considers poetry form before set form verse discussing Kim So-Wol’s poetry, and he establishes ‘original prose’. And he establish ‘archetype of literature form’ emphasizing revolution through dialectical process after differentiation and decomposition. Kim Chun-Soo tries to integrate differentiation and revolution, decomposition and fusion, confusion and order in dialectical process. That is, as he maintains poetic viewpoint of direct progress of ‘set form verse-free verse-prose poem’, he links circle revolution process of ‘dialectical revolution’ as ‘archetype’ and ‘origin’ with sequential process of development of ‘original prose-verse-new prose’, he secures more complex concept on ‘evolution theory of poetic form’.
Kim Chun-Soo defines prose poem as union of ‘prose style as form’, ‘imagism as contents’ discussing Jung Ji-Yong’s Baekrokdam(백록담). Typical prose poem that Kim Chun-Soo insists escapes dimension of ‘imagism as of contents’, advances to ‘formism’ that displays literal optical effect, and advances to ‘surrealism’ that is psychological form that pursue meaning state of former language furthermore. Kim Chun-Soo grasps process of prose poem as progress process of ‘imagism poetry-formism poetry-surrealism poetry’ unconsciously.
