Airlines and travel agencies are traditionally two core businesses in the travel industry. While mutual cooperation has helped, it is true that unavoidable concerns and conflicts due to clash of views leading to various problems have existed internally. The main purpose of this study is to provide an advisable way of keeping the partnership smoothly by controlling the actual conflict factors between airlines and travel agencies. By analyzing the conflict management and deriving partnership performances in terms of airline"s perspective, this study intends to minimize the conflicts, and promote efficient and desirable cooperative relations for their interdependent businesses. This study has classified conflict factors into products, pricing, personal relationship and power structure, and these 4 different conflict factors each have cooperative! compromising and non-cooperative conflict managements of airline IS position which influence the factors of satisfactory and unsatisfactory outcomes of partnership performances as verifying 9 hypothesis lead to a conclusion. The main results show that airlines and travel agencies can maintain a constructive business relationship and long term cooperation basically under conflict management with compromising attitude and understanding.
