The purpose of this study is to examine the influence that visual materials like movies and TV programs has on potential tourists through an analysis of influence relationship between destination awareness that has been obtained through visual materials and destination image. Especially, this analysis was carried out more concretely and inclusively by including such visual materials as TV entertainment programs and CF in addition to movies and TV dramas. As a result of analysis, first, potential tourist visitors revealed higher than average recognition degree of location sites (3.556 points out of 5). destination awareness through drama turned out to be especially high. Second, the destination awareness through visual materials had a signifiant relationship with Leisure and pleasure among emotional image. Third, when one has a feeling on a destination that it is interesting, fun, and lively or clean and beautiful, there is more likelihood to visit that destination. Lastly, it turned out that destination awareness that has been obtained through visual materials had a positive relationship with the intention to visit.
