This study was to investigate the cause of athletes` stress in the elementary school and provide the information to cope with their stresses. For the purpose of this total of 322 athletes who had participated in Junior National Sports Festival 2002. They asked to answer open style questionnaire then analyzed the factors influencing their stresses. The first, after the statistical analysis, athletes of elementary school students were affected by the following factors stress related with 1) the competition, 2) the training, 3) the training environment, 4) psychological conflict, 5) the lack of leisure time, and 6) advancing the middle school. We found six factors having more than 1 eigen value and 85% of the cumulative explanatory variances. The explanatory power of the factors were 31.53% of the performance, 27.05% of training, 12.08% of the training environment, 9.74% of the training and psychological conflict, 7.53% of deficit of leasure time and 5.01% of class and advance of higher school. athletes. The second, there were significance correlation between subfactors. There was no difference boy and girls` stress in subfactors. The players involved in teams competition showed high score athletic stress factors Ⅱ.
