This study compared the condition before exercise with the 1st condition at 4 weeks after execise, the 2nd condition at 8 weeks after exercise, and the 3rd condition at 12 weeks after exercise to find out the effect of aerobic exercise program on body composition, heart rate and blood pressure in 20 obese middle-aged men and women. 1. Body Composition 1) There was the significant difference (p<0.05) between sexes and periods in body weight, but there wasn`t any other significant difference in interaction between sexes and periods. 2) There was the significant difference (p<0.05) between sexes and periods in % fat, but there wasn`t any other significant difference in interaction between sexes and periods. 3) There wasn`t any other significant difference in body fat between sexes, but there was the significant difference (p<0.05) in body fat between periods. And there wasn`t any other significant difference in interaction between sexes and periods. 4) There was the significant difference (p<0.05) between sexes and periods in lean body mass, but there wasn`t any other significant difference in interaction between sexes and periods. 2. Heart Rate and Blood Pressure. 1) There wasn`t any significant difference in heart rate between sexes, while there was the significant reduction (p<0.05) between periods. And there wasn`t any significant difference in interaction between sexes and periods. 2)There wasn`t any significant difference in systolic blood pressure between sexes, while there was the significant reduction (p<0.05) between periods. And there wasn`t any significant difference in interaction between sexes and periods. 3) There wasn`t any significant difference between sexes in diastolic blood pressure, while there was the significant reduction (p<0.02) between periods. And there wasn`t the significant difference in interaction between sexes and periods. Synthesizing the above results, the orderly aerobic exercise that had been carried out for 12 weeks brought a desirable change to body composition, heart rate, and blood pressure of middle-aged obese men and women. Accordingly, it is required to carry out the more continuous study by various ages, exercise intensity, frequency and duration. Key Words : Body Composition, Heart Rate, Systolic Blood Pressure, Diastolic Blood Pressure.
