The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship between the self-fulfillment and self-concept of the elementary school participants in outdoor educational activity. The subjects for this study totalled 129(4th grade: 33, 5th grade: 60, 6th grade: 36) students. Instrument of this study were used the Self-Fulfillment Questionnaire(Min, 1986) and Self-Concept Questionnaire (Yoon, 1984). All of the subjects made up the questionnaire by themselves at the end of the program. The collected data were analyzed by reliability analysis, one-way ANOVA, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis. As a consequence, the following conclusions were drawn. First, there was significant difference statistically in the self-fulfillment of elementary school participants in outdoor educational activity by the occasion of participation. Second, there were significant differences statistically in the self-concept of elementary school participants in outdoor educational activity by the occasion of participation. Third, there were the positive relationships between the self-fulfillment and self-concept of elementary school participants in outdoor educational activity. Fourth, there was the causal relationship between self-fulfillment and self-concept of elementary school participants in outdoor educational activity, that is, self-fulfillment had an effect on self-concept.
