This essay deals with the deaths of humans, animals, and plants from Christian worldview. When it comes to the concept of "salvation" in the Bible, the understanding of death as "the wages of sin Romans 6:23" has been overly biased to "physical death." This paper was conducted in the following order: First, I compare the secular understanding with the biblical understanding of deaths of humans, animals, and plants. Second, I try to deal with an integrated understanding of death with various concepts. Third, after discussing the relation of the deaths of humans, animals, and plants, and the uniqueness of it, I discuss the need for a comprehensive understanding of death. Fourth, I try to interpret the death, based on Christian worldview and a comprehensive understanding of death with the framework of the ‘Creation-Fall-Redemption’ Finally, I try to correlate the theological concept of death to the interpretation of the Christian worldview which shows an integrated understanding of death. From the research, I came to conclude that the death of humans, animals, and plants in the Bible has been emphasized only on the "physical death" and it causes too negative evaluation of the death. The emphasis on physical death interferes with our integrated understanding of death. In addition, the negative view of death cannot explain the meaning of human"s life and death "now and here," and it also makes us neglect the importance of nowness. In addition, I found the concept of similarity and distinction of the death of the human, animals, and plants. With such recognition, I came to know that the death of all creatures is also connected to the God"s salvation plan, based on the Christian worldview. Furthermore, I could recognize the importance of accepting a balanced and integrated perspective of creation tand salvation theology so that we can interpret the death as the completion of God"s salvation, having a way of the theological practice to be applied for a life. Finally, I realized that having good attitudes dealing with death in real life is important as much as comprehending the importance of an integrated biblical understanding of death. In addition, I came to have a gratitude and appreciation for the creatures.
