The purpose of this study was to examine the convenience of elderly facilities and the satisfaction of convenient facilities, and to investigate the effects on the falls efficacy and activities of daily living(ADL) focusing on senior users of walking aid who live in a permanent rental apartments in G. City.
The study period was January 17 through February 21, 2018. Study subjects were senior users of walking aid who live in A permanent rental apartment and B permanent rental apartment in G. City.
As a result, the convenience of elderly facilities, satisfaction of convenient facilities, falls efficacy and ADL were higher in senior users of walking aid who live in the latest permanent rental apartment because of the environmental differences in residential space and convenient facility. However, especially convenience of elderly facilities and Satisfaction of Convenient Facilities influenced falls efficacy and ADL. Therefore, housing welfare in a true sense should be practiced by understanding the in conveneince and unsafety factors focusing on aging permanent rental apartment and making human engineering improvements for conveneient and safety residential space and convenient facility.
