The reign of King Jinpyeong of Silla succeeded King Jinheung as the kingdom was strengthened and the territory of the Han River was stabilized. In this paper, We analyzed in detail the Battle of Goguryo in the Jinpyeong Kingdom of Silla. Silla blocked two attacks against the Adansung and Bukhansan in the 590s from Goguryeo. And in 604, Bukhansanju was re-established to stabilize the northern part of the Han River. Goguryeo attempted a roundabout attack, and in 608, it occupied the northern border of Silla and the Woomyeongsanseong.
However, Silla occupied 500Ri changes to Goguryeo before 614 using the Goguryeo-Su War, and recovered much of the territory it secured in the reign of King Jinheung. In addition, Silla occupied the Nangbiseong of Goguryeo in 629 in order to secure the northern part of the Han River in a stable.
Silla stabilized the territory of the Han River basin and the sea transportation route to China through the Battle of Goguryeo. In the end, this battle of Goguryeo in the King Jinpyeong is important in that it has become a cornerstone of Goguryeo"s destruction.
