The purpose of this study was to explore parents’ and teacher’s awareness of young children character and character education in early childhood through metaphorical analysis. At the metaphorical analysis result: the parents’ recognition of character in young children was categorized into a total of 8 such as “Changable” Like parents’ character while teachers’ recognition of character in young children was categorized into 8 different categories, such as “The starting point of human growth, development, and has critical power”, “Depends on the surrounding environment”. The parents’ recognition of character education in early childhood education was categorized into a total of 10 categories, including “Compulsory education”, “The beginning of education and will be in the future”, and “Personalized Training”. The teachers’ recognition of character education in early childhood education was categorized into a total of 8 similar categories, such as “Compulsory education”, “The beginning of education and will be in the future”, “carried out through modelling”.
