This study analyzed the effects of university students' participation in creative problem solving programs on their creativity and learning performance. Twenty university students participated in the Creativity Improvement Program for eight weeks as a comparative program of the university. Participants participated in the program to learn creativity theory, train ideas, and present ideas in a contest. To understand the impact of participation on the creativity of participants, the TTCT (Torrance Tests of Creative Thinking), one of the most frequently used tests for creativity, was conducted. Participants were examined before and after the program. As a result, there was a significant increase after program participation in flexibility and originality which is a subfactor of creativity. This suggests that the provision of a creative curriculum at universities can foster the convergent and creative talents that society needs. The limitation of this study is that there is no control group and the results cannot be interpreted only by the influence of the creative problem solving program. Lastly, follow-up studies are needed to investigate which influencers of creative programs enhance creativity.
