The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between interpersonal stress, job satisfaction, and teacher happiness of infant and child teachers, and to see if teacher happiness has a mediating effect in the relationship between interpersonal stress and job satisfaction of infant and child teachers. The study targets 303 teachers working at kindergartens and day care centers in Gyeonggi-do, Gyeongsang-do and Chungcheong-do, and the data collection was conducted for three weeks from July 13 to July 31, 2020. Pearson correlation analysis and regression analysis were conducted to verify the relationship between interpersonal stress, job satisfaction, and teacher happiness of infant and child teachers, and the Sobel test (1982) was conducted to verify the significance of the three-stage medial attribution analysis and mediated effects of Baron and Kenny (1986) in order to identify the interpersonal stress and the job satisfaction. First, according to this study, the interpersonal stress of infant teachers, job satisfaction, and the interpersonal stress and happiness of infant teachers are significant amulet correlations, and teacher happiness and job satisfaction are significant static correlations. Second, teacher happiness is shown to have a partial mediated effect in the relationship between the interpersonal stress of infant and child teachers and job satisfaction. Through this study, we intend to provide basic data of an effective teacher happiness promotion program that can support the social sentiment of infant teachers.
