The purpose of this study is to provide its effectiveness and policy direction by quantitatively analyzing how the results of the university restructuring assessment have affected the enhancement of university competitiveness, including employment performance. To this end, this study confirmed that universities with good grades in the results of the university structural reform evaluation showed better competitiveness in educational conditions, academic management, student support, and educational performance. According to the analysis, the results of the university structural reform evaluation showed significant results by grade in the scholarship payment rate and the employment rate of graduates. The scholarship payment rate, which is easy for universities to control, showed higher improvement in the education rate, while the higher the employment rate of graduates, the higher the assessment grade, the higher the improvement rate, but the higher the risk awareness of the assessment result of the lower grade C, the higher the grade B. In addition, we analyzed how the indicators of educational conditions, student support, and educational performance used in the assessment of university structure reform affect the employment rate of graduates, which is a major achievement of universities, and the results showed that the quantitative indicators did not significantly influence the employment rate of graduates. This can be interpreted as a result of qualitative efforts such as job-related subjects and comparative courses that universities have been expanding since the evaluation of university restructuring. Finally, in this study, the meaning of the analysis of quantitative indicators for the evaluation of university structure reform was examined and its implications and limitations were presented.
