This paper investigated the case that occurred in the living space of a day laborer in Japan and Korea in the past. And the issue of lonely death of elderly people living alone in Japan is closely related to the aging of day laborers. To solve this problem, it is necessary to urgently improve their living environment. First of all, it is legally necessary to make the area of the private room at least 6.6m² or more. In addition, it is necessary to install two emergency exits and room windows, Soundproofing with the next room, Compensation from the country for the decrease in the income of the lessor, Reduction of electricity bills in the summer and winter, Country compensation for room charges. It is also necessary to securing female-only housing and housing environment support for people who have just been released from prison. The current situation of the living environment of day laborers can be described in two words: isolation and confrontation with neighbors. Social interests and wisdom are needed to reach a symbiotic society with subaltan.
