The purpose of this study was to develop an online nursing practice education program(gynecological care) for nursing students and to investigate the effects on learning self-efficacy, clinical performance, and learning satisfaction of nursing students. This is an nonequivalent control group pretest-posttest design conducted for 4th grade students of the department of nursing at K university who are scheduled to undergo major practicum in the gynecology ward. Data were collected through an online self-report questionnaire from April to June 2021 from 58 students who agreed to voluntarily participate in the study. The online nursing practice education program(gynecological care) was provided for a total of 10 days for 2 weeks. It was conducted through online video meeting and self-study methods. For the control group, conventional clinical practice education was conducted for 2 weeks. For data analysis, IBM SPSS Statistics 25.0 program was used, and paired t-test and independent t-test were used. After application of the program, the pre- and post-test scores of both groups significantly increased in the case of learning self-efficacy, clinical performance, and learning satisfaction, but learning self-efficacy, clinical performance and learning satisfaction scores did not show a significant difference between the two groups, Through the results of this study, it was possible to confirm the effectiveness of the online nursing practice education program related to clinical practice in the gynecological ward, and it will be used as evidence for education and research to be applied instead of clinical practice.
