The purpose of this study was to analyze the moderating effect of mindfulness in the relationship between the self-efficacy of airline cabin crew on job burnout and turnover intention.
As a result of analyzing a total of 175 questionnaire data, it was found that self-efficacy was a factor affecting emotional burnout, while self-efficacy and emotional burnout did not affect turnover intention respectively. In addition, the moderating effect of mindfulness was shown in the relationship between self-efficacy and emotional exhaustion, but the moderating effect of mindfulness was not shown in the relationship between self-efficacy and turnover intention.
According to the result, considering that it had a significant effect on the emotional exhaustion of self-efficacy but did not affect the self-efficacy and turnover intention, it seemed that the difficulty of hiring airline attendants in the pandemic era had the most influence on the study. It can be seen that the results of the study reflect the situation of the times.
