The purpose of this article is to analyze the patterns of learners' usage of similar grammars in Korean reason expressions such as ‘-aseo/eoseo’, ‘-(eu)nikka’, and ‘-gi ttaemune’ from various angles and then to examine the causes of the derived results and to pursue ensuing educational tasks. To this end, the analysis was performed according to the linguistic range, levels, corpus types, and the frequency of preceding conjugated verbs and adjectives in the expressions, ‘-aseo/eoseo’, ‘-(eu)nikka’, and ‘-gi ttaemune’ based on the raw corpus of Korean Learner's Corpus Search Engine. In addition, the parts of the research that can be applied to education were presented by examining studies related to the analysis results and observing the sentences used by learners. The significance of this study is that it comprehensively researched the usage patterns of Korean language learners, including variables that were not covered in previous studies. Furthermore, it is expected that practical and effective educational methods useful for learners will be established through the results of the analysis of usage patterns.
