Every engineer needs a proper education to perform the job skillfully and the improvement of speciality in the process of job change. But besides few conglomerates that have a continuous education program with CDP(career development program), most engineering companies don't offer the opportunity to receive the education to the engineer. So It is difficult to the engineer to have the capability that they must have to do the job completely. Presently although they depend on the program that engineering institutes and associations offer, it is insufficient, not diverse and don't consider engineering life cycle. Especially most programs for the engineering part of water and wastewater works is not for nonofficial engineers but for the public service personnel.
Therefore, the development of continuous education program is important for the CDP of construction engineers and this paper proposes a method to improve continuous education program including learner's motivation, proper development and choice of program in construction engineering industry.
