The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of aerobic exercise and aerobic with weight training exercise on leptin concentratin and body composition, blood lipid profile in obese middle school students boys.
The aerobic exercise subjects were measured aerobic exercise intensity and aerobic with weight training 1RM, letptin and body composition and blood samples profiles such as TC, TG, HDL, LDL were drawn from antecubital vein before taking part in the two kinds of different exercise training programs. These subjects were divided into two groups and they part in a eight-week experiment. The type of aerobic exercise was composed of treadmill and bicycle ergometer practiced running 40-50 min in a bout, the intensity was respectively at 60% HRmax, the length was 60 min/day, the frequency was 4times/week. The aerobic with weight training composed of 5 item using weight 1-RM intensity was respectively at 60%, the length was 60 min/day, the frequency was 2 times/week. The aerobic with weight training practiced the aerobic exercise and aerobic with weight training during the same time.
The conclusion of this study were as follows :
1. The survey shows that in light of body composition, the subjects showed a slight decrease in body weight following exercise training and there were no significantly difference in all group(p>.05), while %body fat following exercise training and there were significantly difference in all group(p<.05). But there lean body mass showed a slight increased a no significantly difference(p>.05) in following with the period exercise.
2. The blood TC, TG, and LDL-C concentration were decreased following the two types of exercise training program, and blood HDL-C concentration was increased, Also, there was statistically a significant difference (p<.05) in following with the period exercise.
3. The study also indicates that in the light of leptin concentration, the two groups showed a decrease after 8 weeks. There was a statistically no significant difference (p>.05) in following with the period exercise.
