This article aims to evaluate High School Equalization Policy (HEP) in the perspective of the Reformed theology and suggest some ideas on the policy. Three principles, such as the integration of education with faith, parental responsibility and right in education, and justice as educational aim are suggested as the framework through which HEP is evaluated. The principles are derived from the key themes of the Reformed theology like kingdom of God and covenant. First of all, I discussed the actual validity of the policy by reviewing the empirical studies on HEP. The studies show that we do not have clear evidences that the policy results in the decrease in the students' academic achievements. Even though the policy contributes to the establishment of educational equality to some degree, there still remain many problems regarding inequity in education. I also discussed that we need something beyond the discontinuity or amendment of HEP in order to achieve the integration of education with faith and for parents to have responsibility and right in educating their children. Christian schools, which may have their own curriculum and student recruitment policy, are to allow to be established and managed. I also contend that we need to develop sound educational climate, in which the schools must keep schooling in faith. Finally, I suggested the necessity of complementary measures to achieve more effectively the aim of HEP.
