This paper aims at finding exclamations that have been left off the list of existing Korean dictionaries using grammatically tagged spoken language corpus and presenting how to supplement the list. The corpus used in this paper is the grammatically tagged spoken language corpus of 〈21 th Century Sejong〉 (968,177 words).
This is a valuable endeavor because there is no research or dictionary using a Korean spoken language corpus. This paper presents an exclamation list which was obtained from the analysis of the corpus and discusses how to describe in the dictionary. First, this paper discusses a standard word form. Second it discusses how to describe the hesitation filler in the Korean dictionary.
