This study begins with the concern about the ‘burnout’ problem among broadcasting people specifically restricted to the producers and scriptwriters in Korea. Research questions are following: (1) the degree of the perceived ‘burnout’ and differences by socio-demographic attributes, (2) the differences of the perceived three dimensions of MBI-GS(‘emotional exhaustion’, ‘cynicism’, ‘reduced professional efficacy’) by socio-demographic attributes respectively. Analysis was performed by One-way ANOVA on the basis of 220 survey responses of convenience sampling. According to the results, respondents suffer ‘emotional exhaustion’ much more than ‘cynicism’ and ‘reduced professional efficacy’; and salary was the most influential attribute to ‘burnout’. Furthermore, contingent women scriptwriters in their 20s with longer than 6months and shorter than 3years work experience, and less than 2 million won salary group indicated the highest risk of ‘burnout’. In addition, the ‘burnout’ perceptions of the scriptwriters are shown higher than producers’ figures on each of the three dimensions. The results suggested that the ‘young women scriptwriters’ group is rather the most vulnerable one to be exposed to the ‘burnout’ risk.
